Little league evaluations will be taking place next week on March 19th and 21st at Central Elementary. We are planning to schedule Major League evaluations for the 19th and Minor League evaluations for the 21st. Our goal is to notify all players by the 15th with a specific time slot for evaluation. 

For the Major League evaluations, we will be evaluating the returning Major League players who have registered for the 2019 season as well. The goal of evaluating the returning players is for the league officers and coaches to better understand each team’s makeup. 

We graduated 25 players from the Major Leagues last year. This is due in part to rule changes implemented several years ago to change the age eligibility. So, in essence, those players who graduated from the Major Leagues were more than just a single season’s worth of players. It’s more likely that the graduating players were 1 1/2 to 2 seasons worth of players. This is an amazing number and has helped to keep our Junior League team strong this year. But, it does leave some larger than normal gaps for some of the Major League teams.

Going into this Major League season, our goal is to provide competitive baseball with as much parity and positive influences as possible for our children this year and for the years to come.
